Quitters, Inc.
A few years ago I adapted Stephen King's amazing short story: "Quitters, Inc." into a comic book. King's "Night Shift" collection has always been one of my favorites and the sense of paranoia and dread he gives Quitters is really excellent and un-putdown-able. Haruka made some crazy concoctions using crushed up cigarettes and water, and actually painted all 43 pages with tobacco. We thought it would be an interesting approach since the entire story is about quitting smoking. After we finished, we brought it around to a few comic conventions. I even met Frank Darabont and handed him a copy. But alas, nothing much happened with it. So flash forward to a few years later and a reader asked me to upload it to DeviantArt. I figured it was about time we brush off the layers of dust. So here it is. Enjoy!
